The Ram is a great place to get local beer and delicious burgers. My wife and I always hit the Ram when we get a hankering for burgers. They are equally unique and scrumptious. The kitchen can sometimes be slow, so don't be in a hurry. We've also had several work functions here in the meeting rooms that were served well by the restaurant.

The food is extremely consistent, though I've never personally been a fan of their beers. If you're having a hard time thinking of alternatives, The Ram is always a solid option. Inside the restaurant is consistently noisy, so I prefer going in warmer months when the patio is open + a good view of the river running by. Just watch out for bees.

Good pub food, and great beers. Where else can you go where it's totally appropriate to say, "Yeah, I'll have a Buttface, please." It can get a little noisy, especially down by the bar, but in the summer when it's 70 outside their outdoor patio is awesome. They have maybe the 3rd or 4th best burgers in Salem, and their salads are surprisingly good and filling. Plus, as a bonus, they have criss-cut fries, which instantly transport me to nostalgialand.

I was there a few weeks ago with a wedding party. CanNOT believe how rude the employees were. Snotty rude ass girls!! Every one of them except for a guy, named Neal. ( I may have spelled that incorrectly). The service was horrible. They messed up the order and refused to fix it and still charged us for both the incorrect drink we received and the one we ordered (though we never received the one we actually wanted) I will not return to this restaurant. They have good beer.. but that's pretty much it.

Me and my boyfriend came in Sunday before the football game to grab some dinner. We were in our sea hawk's jersey and going to a friends house for a get to gather. Our waitress although nice, SPILLED an ENTIRE tall beer on my boyfriend. Drenched him in beer, his jersey and shorts were soaked. I can tell she was super embarrassed and felt bad, but what kind of idiot do you have to be to lean over someone with a tray of beers. My boyfriend was super nice about it, and didn't get mad, (he's better then me, i would have been heated). haaa but the most disappointing part was how management handled it. They didn't take care of our bill, not a free entree, no free appetizer, NOTHING! Thanks we paid you to spill a beer on us.

Great food, anyone that says otherwise obviously ordered something they didn't like. One of the best burgers in town, consistently. And their beers are extraordinary, Big Red IPA +1

The service was awful! We didn't get silverware until after we got our entree. And no napkins for the awful stuffed tater tots. No lettuce in the salad either. Wtf!!!

My husband and I stopped here on our way to Bend for the weekend, around 9pm at night. We were seated immediately. I am somewhat of a picky eater (and gluten-free) but this place has a nice, large menu and so I didn't have a problem finding something to eat. I had the Plymouth Guac sandwich sans bread- instead they wrapped it in lettuce for me, yum! It is a seriously delicious sandwich. I also got their sweet potato fries which were amazing. I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars because it was pretty dark and cold in the bar area, and because my husband says the Red IPA he had was just "ok".
