Menu

Called “one of the top Italian restaurants in New Orleans” by Zagat, Andrea’s is a Metairie-New Orleans gem serving five-star American, Northern Italian, and seafood entrees. Chef Andrea Apuzzo, a native of Capri, has called New Orleans home for over 30 years, and takes pride in offering a distinctly European dining experience.
From a kitchen that takes no shortcuts, Andrea promises value for the dollar. Looking for a nice place for lunch but short on time? Andrea's has a daily Express 3 Course Special that includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert for just $21.95 and served in 45 minutes for less. In fact, the restaurant has lunch and dinner specials that change daily.
Andrea's also provides on and off-site catering.
Having found a “career of happiness” in his restaurant, Chef Andrea is nearly always in the kitchen, but can also be spotted in Andrea’s dining rooms conversing with his guests in any of six languages.

Longtime place where a congenial chef-owner cooks classic Northern Italian dishes including seafood.- Google
"We also had salads with the meal and a calamari appetizer."
"Chef Andrea is a great chef and put together a great team."

This was the BEST restaurant we have ever been to (and we eat out a lot)!!! The food was great and the service was AMAZING!!! We felt like we were eating at home because they really treated us like family. If you go ask for Louie...he made our dining experience WONDERFUL!!! We had our family, which included 2 small children and the experience was just AMAZING!!! Can't brag enough about how AWESOME this place was!!!

We had a 5 star experience! It has a veriety of atmosphere like a bar room, a romantic room and more. WORTH every penny. Huge menu, attentive staff, and DELICIOUS food. I am definitely going back and will ask for server Anthony again. In and out with a belly full, in about an hour. Dont forget to get dessert to-go cuz youll be too full but they are home made amazing.

We deeply appreciate your very positive review of our restaurant. We are very pleased that you got to enjoy many favorite aspects of what we have to offer. It is always most rewarding to hear directly from our customers and especially those willing to tell their positive perspective. Please revisit us soon and often!

This restaurant was horrible. The only thing good about the restaurant is the decor. The waiter I believe his name is Lou was the worst waiter I have ever met. We had a group of 6 there to enjoy our Valentine's Day Dinner. The food is horrible and the restaurant is definitely over priced. Please save your money and do yourself a favor and do not go to this restaurant. We got there at 8:30pm and did not leave until 11:00pm and the restaurant was supposed to close at 10:00pm. We were the last ones to leave because we were the last ones to get our food. They were people to walk in after us and leave before us.

Shanell, we greatly apologize for your experience on Valentine's Day. Andrea's sets high standards in many areas, the top of which is customer service and the quality of our food. We do hope that at some time you will give us another chance to show you the true essence of who we really are. Thank you for your feedback.

Great family atmosphere and decorum. I also really enjoyed meeting Andrea himself. Would have given it five stars but my wife found a hair in her dessert...TWICE!

Chris, Thank you for your review! We apologize for the dessert you received, but we are happy to know you enjoyed the restaurant as a whole. We hope to see you again soon to rectify any short comings that you received while here!

We had the pleasure of dining here last night. 3 adults and one 6yr old. Absolutely amazing! Our server took care of us and had every item on the menu in his brain, minus all of the wines. That's actually a good thing because the wine list is also amazing. Homemade pasta and breads. My son wants to "only eat his pizza there from now on." Chef Andrea is a great chef and put together a great team. He also personally checked on us to make sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend. My palate and expectations are very high both were satisfied. Grazie!!

We take no greater joy than when a guest of ours like you, raving about our menu, service, and overall value. We rely upon word of mouth and social media channels to spread the word that we are well worth the visit for anyone seeking an incomparable dining experience. Thank you for sharing your positive experience with the world...as it means the world to us!

My boss took us to Andrea's today for lunch. Waiter was horrible. After he served us our meal he disappeared and we didn't see him for a long time. My seafood gumbo was served without rice?? My boss's steak was suppose to be medium and it was rare. Of course she didn't eat it. But the waiter said she should have jumped up and found him. (Not her place!!) The food was barely warm and the tiramsu was dry and not flavorful at all. Big disappointment!

Barbara, We apologize for your experience with Andrea's Restaurant. It was unacceptable. These issues will be acknowledged with both the waitstaff and kitchen staff immediately. Please know that we are taking strides to remedy your issues. We hope that you will give us a second chance in the future, but thank you for your feedback!

My family decided to try some different and go here for x-mas dinner. This was one of the worst dinning experiences I have ever had. The service was horrible, they were really busy so I could have looked past that if the food was edible. The best part was the dessert and that wasn't very good. We had 16 people with us at 48 dollars a person and nobody left full. Most of us didn't even eat our meals. You were lucky to get a drink, and we were there from 2:00pm until about 6. I don't know if this is the caliber of food they always serve but I have had much better food out of a can or the freezer aisle. We would have had a better dinner going to McDonald's or Burger King. Avoid at at costs, not worth 5 dollars a person!

Was served a spoiled steak. Went with large group. Everything else was fine, but if your chef/cook doesn't notice the beef he's preparing has turned, you have to wonder. The only possible explanation is that they parboil their meat first, which is horrible for a restaurant that purports to be fine dining. Still not much of an explanation. I tore into the meat bc I was hungry, got 5-6 bites in and was revolted. It wasn't even close to normal meat. Sent it back. They offered me another. Why would I trust that. Took it off the bill. Not much of a concession for such egregious oversight.
