A windy first day at the market
Last Saturday was my first farmer's market day of the season. For the week before the market, I herded together all of my pottery creation left over from last year and the pieces that I made over the winter. It turns out that my production level has bumped ...

I had a commission to create a flying pig yarn bowl a few weeks back.  It tickled my fancy and the resulting yarn bowl is pretty stinkin' cute.  And I managed to get him done in time for Christmas.  Whew. Although he's inte...

Huh, surprised by these reviews. I've always had very good service here. I wouldn't say that the service is overly friendly, but always very fast, polite, and good. Ingredients are always fresh, the chicken souvlaki is tasty.

While I was at a conference in San Diego, I needed a haircut. Found Gio & Gio and was thrilled. Within walking distance of my hotel, got in immediately without an appointment, and only paid $20 for a fabulous haircut. Yay! The staff was talented and friendly. What more can you ask for?

A week after Roland came out to work up an estimate for a picket and privacy fence & removal of a large cedar tree in my yard, the project was complete! Over the last year, we've worked with a lot of contractors on a variety of different projects, and by far Roland stands out as one of the best. Friendly and courteous, quick responses to questions, suggestions to make projects better, and just really great work all around. If you are a looking for a good home repair contractor, you should definitely try Roland.
