Very interesting.  I enjoyed reading your comments and Dad's impromptu condensed bio.  Maybe you should write a book about your dad.

Oh, wow. This. Every last work.

My column last week argued that a lot of white America is smug or deluded on race relations, and I had lots of pushback from readers, including here on Google+. So here's my attempt to respond to critics.
A column on “smug white delusion” drew a deluge of responses. Here are a few.

Story
Tagline
A writer, a dreamer. Slaying dragons with her pen one day at a time.
Introduction
I'm a writer, blogger, journalist and graduate of the  Goddard College MFA program in fiction. My work has appeared in USAToday and UrbanLatino Magazine. My latest fiction piece, "Beginnings" will appear in September in Minvera Rising, a literary journal. My blog is about what inspires me, my writer's soul, and my writing journey--the highs to the lows and every period, comma, and fragment in between. All this with a Latina twist.
