Let it rain!
It's the rainy season in Rwanda right now. That means our rainwater harvest systems are filling up quickly. They capture water right in their villages so people don't have to walk miles to a river or swamp.

Here's some impressive math:
* We've installed 49 of these 10,000 liter (2,642 gallons).
* That's 129,444 gallons captured every time it rains for more than 30 minutes!
* This water saves 24,500 daily trips for local villagers
* Since a daily trip to the river is usually 3 hours and the average trip to a rainwater harvest system is 20 minutes, that's a daily savings of 2 hours and 60 minutes and a total savings of 65,330 hours.

With this extra time, farmers are focusing on their fields, children are going to school, merchants are selling their goods.

Livelihoods are improving and prospects are increasing with every drop we capture!

And we're doing it all 20 Liters at a time.

If you give gay people the right to marry...

They’re going to ask to file their taxes jointly.

When they’re filling out their W-9 at work,

They’re going to ask for spousal benefits.

When you give them equal benefits, they’re probably going to want hospital visitation rights, too.

While they’re visiting each other in the hospital, they’ll think about their need for joint insurance coverage.

When they get joint home, health and auto insurance coverage, they’ll start planning a road trip together.

Then they’ll want their marriage to be recognized in every state they travel to.

While they’re on vacation, they’ll see a family with young children at the beach.

Then they’ll want the right to care for and raise a child.

But before they can adopt a child, they’ll want joint parenting and equal family status.

Then, when their children are grown, they’ll start thinking about inheritance rights.

And , when they have been given the legal right to shape their lives and plan their futures like straight couples…

Zorp the Surveyor will arise from the earth and burn your flesh off with his volcano mouth.
