This review is based strictly on MY plate of food and MY experience with the food. I had the lemon grass chicken with duck fried rice and fries. The highlight of the food, sadly, were the fries. The chicken tasted as if I had popped my grill open and slapped it on there. Nothing out of the ordinary to be quite honest. The meal looked nice, but was hardly nice tasting. Was expecting more due to the high reviews, but was led astray. Was slapped with a 80 bill and called it a night. The place looked nice and the people were great. But let's face it, the food is what truly counts in a restaurant and the true reason you go there in the first place. I would STRONGLY suggest taking your money to a better tasting restaurant.

Good food but sparse decor and it is difficult to return with so many other better options for the money.

Classy and delicious. Simply put, it's the cosmopolitan sister of Lawry's. The steaks were amazing, the sides were solid but the duck fried rice is what I remember the best. THE BEST duck fried rice. Can't wait to try their brunch, and leave w/ some duck fried rice to go.

Loved this old school feel in a contemporary setting. Great special night spot.

Rich people's comfort food. Okay, for fine dining, the prices aren't bad, and the food is excellent. Famous for their haute'd-up Pot Roast, Jar also has great drinks, a good wine list, and really interesting appetizers. I love this place!
