Oh shit, that flying cow is attacking that weather vane!  I hope you weren't injured in the rampage!

Obligatory bad cell phone shots from #bostoncalling  this weekend. It was a great show! Looking forward to this becoming a common happening in Boston.

Woo! More free WiFi! Thank Google :)

Free Public WiFi at South Station

Starting today, Boston commuters don't have to unplug while waiting for their train, T, taxi or bus at South Station. A new infrastructure supporting public WiFi has been installed, courtesy of +Google Enterprise — http://goo.gl/A8XA8

Best part is the caption for the photo.

"Related: The floor of the New York Stock Exchange is increasingly irrelevant to the stock market. But a picture of a room full of computers would be super boring."

Cool video. Amazing to think all of that happened in just a year. Looking forward to seeing what history gets made in 2013.

Story
Tagline
SWE at Google and CMU alum who likes to be outside.
Introduction
During the week I write code for Google at the Cambridge, MA office. On the weekends you might find me rock climbing, snowboarding, riding my bike or doing the lindy hop.

While at CMU I was head of AB Tech, a student organization that does light and sound for campus events, and was a TA for some Math and CS classes. In high school I did lighting design for theater and worked at Sportrock, my local climbing gym.
Bragging rights
Drove across the USA, rode by bike 100 miles in a day.

Just stopped in for the first time tonight. I was on my way to Anna's but this place caught my eye so I thought I would give it a go. I got the Falafel sandwich which was good. I am the kind of person who puts pretty much everything on my sandwich when given the choice and most of the fixins they had were yummy. The garlic parsley thing was especially good. I was not thrilled about the service. When I walked in looking confused they were kind of rude to me. It is a new place and it is not exactly obvious how the whole ordering process is going to work. When I was paying they did not offer to wrap my sandwich to go even though I was alone and carrying a shopping bag. All that being said I am sure once you got the procedure down it would be a quick place to grab a bite. The decore was a bit odd. It is probably worth saying that one of things on the wall near the door features a large drawing of a topless woman in leather, which seems like kind of an odd choice for a fast food falafel place, but I guess they are playing up the Amsterdam thing.
