Good hotel in a great business location. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Professional staff and very clean. Free convenient parking is a plus. Price was a little steep for the amenities. I would stay again.

I stayed here while interviewing with Apple. It's very close to the main Apple campus and has a variety of eating options within walking distance. A very comfortable and clean hotel, but nothing extraordinary.

We loved our stay with The Cyprus Hotel. We were here for a wedding and I have to say that we were thoroughly impressed with Kimpton.  My wife and I are Starwood Owners and rarely stay outside of our network. However, this is the third Kimpton Hotel that we have stayed at and we enjoyed almost every aspect of our stay. In my opinion it’s the actual service of the hotel that makes this hotel above most. From room service, great company in the bar, wonderful yummy food, and the staff finding/returning my lost cell phone, I would definitely return next time we are in the area.

I love Kimptons, stay in them for business. Hip, cool, great restaurants. $10 off mini bar if you are a member. At this particular stay, had this best slider of my life. I travel for a living extensively for long periods so hotels are my home. If that hotel is a Kimpton, it is like the real thing...Palomars, Monacos, Cypress, I love them all.

They were able to accomidate my special requests. Paid just shy of $200 a night a was worth every penny. Its a business oriented hotel, so I imagine the mornings are noisey during the week, but Friday and Saturday night were nice and the mornings were quiet.

I'm a fan of Kimpton hotels, my first stay at this freshly renovated property was very pleasing. It's very well located for highway access, and not far from San Jose's downtown, as well as various green spaces. Staff were very friendly even at peak times, and there's free garage parking adjacent to the hotel. There's a small park in front of the hotel, and a sitting area behind the hotel (with fountain)-- nice places to take in some California sunshine. The adjacent apartment complex was quiet when we were there, and has a ground floor cafe. Seagate also has a building next door. A very short drive away (walkable if you don't mind crossing the major roads) is a Whole Foods (great for healthy fare for much cheaper than restaurants), various restaurants, and a Peets. Apple's current HQ is a mile or so north. The onsite restaurant is very decent with a good happy hour (typical for Kimptons). We partook of the free Wine Hour daily (there were passed snacks one day also). Citrus-infused filtered water is available in the lobby, as is free coffee in the morning. All the free bevs are very welcome in the dry California air. The place was recently renovated-- our room was comfortable, clean, and very spacious. The yoga mat included with each room is a nice touch. The curtains are heavy to block out the bright California sun, and we slept very well. The rooms are quiet, especially if you keep the bathroom door closed. Wifi was fast and consistent. There's in-room recycling. Only drawback to the Cypress is the Silicon Valley pricing. Very nice hotel.

Decent rooms and overall a good hotel. Service could be improved though, specially when the hotel claims to honor their guest's preference (and I would expect this even more being a somewhat frequent guest). Check the fare you're paying and check for discounts that may apply to you as the staff there won't really help you with this and will try to charge the highest fare.
