We came to NYC for a day trip and were looking for somewhere that I could eat safely, as I have Celiac Disease. What a goldmine we found! Everything here is gluten free. Everything! It was like a dream come true. I had the mushroom risotto, which was absolutely delicious. The glass of red wine I chose was also incredibly yummy. For dessert I had their chocolate cake with vanilla sauce and I honestly had to refrain from licking the plate. The service was great- our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The interior is cute, with a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be back.

This place will spoil you - the guys here are AMAZINGLY friendly and just so nice!!! We bought some salted mozz, Asiago with balsamic, truffled cheese (which is called "life changing cheese" by the way), as well as some spicy sopressata, and some red wine and garlic sopressata - can't wait to eat all that with our friends tonight!! I also got an Uncle Joe hero - OMG, it was AMAZING. It comes with this insane garlic mayo that I could've just eaten a VAT of.

I was told that this authentic Italian restaurant in East Village is famous for its gluten-free amazing risotto. I love specialized restaurants. We started with the fresh pear and avocado salad. It was very good. Then, I had the carciofi (artichoke) risotto. It was creamy, full of flavors, and very good. The amount was also good. I love calamari and seafoods but I have been developing the favor for artichoke recently. This may due to such an excellent dish like this. My friend had the Funghi misti risotto (mushroom risotto. She said it was excellent. When you go this restaurant, please be awrae the price of your risotto before you order it. Most of them are between $16 and $22, which is quite comomn in Manhattan. Nevertheless, the risotto of eggplant and tomato was about $26, even they do not conian any facy ingredients. I was surprised and curious, so, I asked this to the wait staff but she could not offer us any answers. Tiramisu' and chocolate cake were also very good. We are planning to come back here and try other risottos soon.

I love risotto and this place does fantastic and creative things with it beyond just adding mushrooms. The prosciutto wrapped berry risotto was delicious and definitely unique.

Impossibly good gluten-free bread. Excellent risotto. Delightful service. Moderate prices. 'Nuf said. I have been looking for gluten-free bread for years — my only regret is that Melotti wouldn't sell me a loaf. So, next time (which will be soon!) I'm going to have an entire meal of bread and whatever they'll give me to go with it. Heaven!
