Russell House Tavern took the burger and messed with convention. The R. House Grass Fed Burger comes on an English muffin. Between that muffin lies 8 ounces of Maine Family Farms ground beef, sharp cheddar, bacon, and caramelized onions. This melty creation is juicy and has an excellent blend of flavors. The aioli on top paired with the ketchup and caramelized onion makes a combination of creamy, salty, and savory that will wow your taste buds. The English Muffin holds the entire package together and soaked up the juices. This is a premium bar burger that took a gamble that paid off big. It's a bit like a breakfast sandwich on steroids (and that's a good thing in this case).

service is lacking for the quality of the restaurant. they rest a bit on their laurels, which is primarily their location. i have had delicious food, like marrow bone, but they are hit or miss, and i have had a few duds as well. that said, when it's good, it's spectacular. great cocktails.

Great gastro pub. Don't let cramp upstairs dissuade you. Large lower level has great bar ambience.

We dropped in RHT after being kicked out of Beat for some silly reason, and was glad we did. Though the restaurant was pretty busy, we managed to get a table in the bar area. The pork belly sandwich with mint...holy cow (pig?). It was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long while. Will surely return to try out the rest of the menu!

Pretty new establishment in the heart of Harvard Sq offers a fantastic cocktail menu and some amazing eats. Sophisticated New American cuisine with at least one well known off-menu item (hint: it's a burger). In the evenings it's typically packed but the owners have yet to recognize that you need to maintain a certain ratio of waitstaff-to-customer so the service can be slow. Try the Sacriledge drink and the lobster slider.

$1 oysters after 11pm? NOM! This place is the perfect hangout for late night cocktails with friendly bartenders and friendlier patrons. High class meets casual fun. I don't take cocktails lightly, and this place makes some fantastic ones. My mouth is watering thinking about their French 75's already...
