This recipe says 1/4 cup warm water. It appears to be correct.  The other link, in well blog, says 1 cup warm water, which is wrong, Unfortunately, that was one I followed.  Sigh!  I ended up putting in almost 8 cups of flour because the dough was to wet.  http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/projects/healthy-recipes/recipes/pumpkin-cranberry-cinnamon-rolls-with-maple-icing is  wrong!

After going to Chris' classes, I haven't been to my chiropractor for lower back adjustments.  This exercise is really good for core, spine, joints, muscles strength and flexibility.  It is awesome!

Fran,  I tried your Opera Cake.  Out of this world!  So French-ey and elegant. Oh my!  Thank you!  I learned a lot from your Vegan Chocolate cookbook.  I also have your other previous cookbooks.  My husband is a chocoholic and I make your elegant chocolate desserts for him.  He is so grateful of your work (me too).  I love making them.  My husband is slim like you.  Not fair!  Can't believe you stay so slim, are you feeding them all to your husband, too?  :-)

Oh la la! I'm so happy to hear you made the Opera Cake in Vegan Chocolate. It's so elegant but pretty easy, right?! As how I am trim and a pastry chef, I really do walk my talk

I eat a whole foods plant based diet and my old out of control cravings disappeared.  Making absolutely satisfying Vegan Desserts, with only quality real ingredients means a smaller portion satisfies.
No way I am giving up my treats!

Very well made documentary!  I just watched it.   Thank you Mr. Griffin! Someone needs to pay a tribute, such as this film, to the humble and hard worker founder of Huy Fong Foods, David Tran.  Thank you, thank you!   I have enjoyed this product for as long as they were invented.  I was introduced to it in LA chinatown markets in 1980s. I enjoy the Sriracha, Garlic hot sauce, and sambal oelek. I am using them in my cooking all the time. The 3 products have been residents in my fridge for decades. The story is so touching. David Tran sacrificed so much for his family.  I hope the problem with Irwindale will be solved soon and that the company can continue or I will cry. Also, I am going to check out those cookbooks.
