Yelp Review from Eyes O.
10/23/2017

5 stars for Rouleau Orthodontics! We interviewed three offices in the area before choosing to go with the doctors at Rouleau and we couldn't be happier. The office is very inviting and every single office member is a pleasure to work with.

Our specifics: My 8, almost 9, y.o., at the time, had a rather large overbite, plus a wide gap in her front teeth. Her treatment began with an upper pallet expander. After 3 months she got a few braces added to her upper teeth. Then, 3 months later (and 6 months into the pallet expander) she got the pallet expander off. Finally, after only 10 months of braces (and 1 year and 1 month total from start to finish) she now has everything off and we're all thrilled with the results! It helped that she was really great about keeping everything clean, protected and wore her headgear every night, but we were so surprised with how fast the process went!

I can't recommend Rouleau Orthodontics enough!

Dr. Aaron Rouleau recently passed the American Board of Orthodontics exam to become one of the newest Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics! Congratulations Dr. Aaron on becoming Board Certified.

The mission of The American Board of Orthodontics is to establish and elevate the level of orthodontic care for the general public by encouraging excellence in clinical practice and specialty education. Board certification is based on the highest standards of orthodontic knowledge and clinical skill. To become board-certified, orthodontists must complete a thorough written examination in all areas of the orthodontic specialty. During a comprehensive clinical examination, orthodontists present several finished patient cases for review by the expert examiners of the American Board of Orthodontics and complete an oral examination that evaluates diagnosis, treatment-planning, and finished treatment ability.

A board-certified orthodontist is showing a lifelong commitment to continuing education. On a periodic basis, re-certification examinations are completed in order to maintain active board certification status.

Did you know that there are 3 generations of Orthodontists in the Rouleau/Dugoni Family?

Dr. Arthur Dugoni was the first orthodontist in the family, receiving his DDS degree in 1948 and his Masters in Orthodontics in 1963. He also served as the dean at the University of the Pacific Dental school for 30 years from 1978-2006. His son Dr. Steve Dugoni and son in law Dr. Bert Rouleau both graduated from the University of the Pacific Orthodontic Program. They are both active faculty members at UOP, teaching in the Orthodontic Department for over 25 years. And the latest member of the family to join the Orthodontic ranks, Aaron Rouleau, graduated from the University of the Pacific Orthodontic Program in 2013.

It's a real family business and they all share in their dedication to the development and improvement of the orthodontic profession!

It's never too late to have the smile of your dreams!

These days, adults make up nearly half of orthodontic patients hoping to finally get the perfect smile they've always dreamed about. Braces have evolved considerably in the last 15 years. Breathe easy, the days of being a true "metal mouth" are over and more lightweight and cosmetically friendly options are available here at Rouleau Orthodontics. We provide treatment with clear ceramic braces, Invisalign, SimpliClear and many other options.

Call us to schedule your Complimentary Exam with Dr. Rouleau!

Dr. Bert Rouleau just returned from his annual dental group ski trip to Alta, Utah! Every year he and around 20 other Dentists and Dental Specialists from Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Cupertino, Sunnyvale and other locations in Northern California make the trip out to Utah for a week of powder skiing and continuing dental education. This year they got lucky with over 2 feet of fresh powder! Lucky Dog! They also had some great lectures on Invisalign , orthodontic treatment of open bites and some interesting practice management advice. He is glad to be back and glad there is finally some snow in Tahoe as well!
