I really like this little beer garden. The potato pancakes with lingonberries are amazing, love them. Good beer selection. Spatzel was ok, but I'll have to try the cheese spatzel next time. Those bathrooms are grody, though, get it together! They make bus station bathrooms look classy.

Happiness is a plate of white sausage and a pint of heifeweizen from Loreley. The Manhattan location is fun as well, but the Brooklyn one is much more open, with high ceilings and an open layout. A nice departure from NY style plates, the portions here are huge, and even the appetizer plates are enough to satiate my appetite. Also, they regularly host beer tastings that showcase a number of different brews from around Germany, accompanied by a 3-course meal for 40 bucks.

Standard German pub fare, great beer. Nicer space than its Manhattan counterpart.

Very good German food. I particularly enjoy the Currywurst and the Bretzeln which are the best I've had in New York so far.
