In addition to the Mesoamerican Cloud Forest where the tree daisy (Montanoa spp.) show is nice there are a couple awesome specimens of Montanoa grandiflora elsewhere in the Garden emitting their delicious scent that @anniesannuals says, "smell deliciously of fresh-baked cupcakes" or San Marcos Growers calls, "reminiscent of chocolate or vanilla". Go see and smell these beauties in bed 48H near the Succulent Garden and in bed 77B along the fence behind the Southeast Asian Cloud Forest.

This fall, adventure through a jungle of lush, exotic plants that thrive in the world's cloud forests, and here in foggy San Francisco, too! San Francisco Botanical Garden is one of the only botanical gardens in the world where the alluring beauties of these high elevation forests thrive outdoors, and fall is the best time to see the Garden's enchanting cloud forest in bloom. Celebrate the season with an array of walks, classes, special events and family activities!
