Apple’s newly patented technology may make this possible. The technology places an infrared sensor in your phone that has the potential to be disabled remotely.

Sorry it’s been so long since I posted. I just moved less than two weeks ago, and I’m still having Internet issues. Recently there was an event that should have provoked a firestorm of …

We're seeing people using violence to silence opponents more often than in decades. The media are ignoring the fact that so-called "anti-fascists" started the violence in Sacramento.
When people resort to force to defeat other people’s views, they aren’t starting down a slippery slope. They’re stepping off a cliff. It doesn’t matter how strongly they fee…

The people on BOTH sides of the rally last week are despicable and I hate everything they BOTH stand for BUT the right to peaceable gather and protest shall not be infringed. Those who do not understand this fact are not mature enough to live here, please move to China where that kind of thing is not allowed.

In spite of what misinformed grammar fanatics say, there's nothing wrong with using the passive voice appropriately.
Self-proclaimed experts on writing often express contempt for the passive voice, whether they understand what it is or not. Language Log has a good discussion of what it is and where it’s a p…
