I usually like BJs since it is open till late and has decent food. My go to food is egg rolls but I went there 3-4 different times and either it is under cooked or had a weird taste. Even the chips once were too salt. The BJs in cuppertino is much better I feel.

Atmosphere is Awesome. Food was so so. Service was very slow and forgot to bring out our appetizers and later in the meal forgot to bring out a round of drinks. I frequently saw the waitress chatting with the other wait staff or playing on her phone.

Love their Great White pizza. And of course, you can't go wrong with any of their pizookies. They also have a nice variety of beers to choose from depending on your mood (or food). The only problem is if they are busy, you may have to wait a really long time until a table finally opens for you.

I have seen a few of these throughout California, but had never been to one until I moved to Daly City. I love sampling new beers and this is a good place to do it. I prefer IPA style beers and they offer a few different varieties that they brew themselves, that are all really good. This restaurant is almost always busy and most of the time you will have to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated if you want to sit on the restaurant side. I, however, don't mind sitting in the bar area, and you can usually find a table immediately. The restaurant and bar is filled with big screen TVs with pretty much any sport you would want to watch playing. They also have an outdoor patio which I have yet to use because it is usually foggy or windy or both (but that's expected for the area haha). The service is friendly and reasonably quick, but sometimes they seem under-staffed and I sympathize with the waiters who are all really nice, but I can tell they are being over-worked. The food is decent, comparable to Chili's or other bar-style food. My only two complaints with this restaurant are the portions and the customization. The portions are fairly small for the price. You can go to Chili's and get bigger portions for less, but the atmosphere won't be as nice and the beer selection isn't as good. Also, when I tried to substitute an ingredient on a sandwich, I felt like I hit a brick wall and the waiter was unable to make any minor changes to my meal. Definitely a fun place to grab lunch and a beer and watch the game on a weekend. But if you have a big group, make sure to call ahead of time otherwise you might be waiting for a while.

BJ's is a chain, it is good decent pub fair. the pizzas have stewed tomatoes on them, it's their thing. I don't really like that much, but you know, it's okay food and I will keep coming back for more. on the plus side, the smiley face fries and pazookie are fun to eat. yes but being a beer guy, I come for the beer. their heff is decent, most of the brews are tasty.. it varies with each batch like small brews will. i will let you in on a secret. MIX THEM! not on the menu... but describe it and they will do it. Black and Brown - PM porter and Nutty Brewnette Jeremiah Blonde - Brewhouse Blonde and Jeremiah Red yay! if you don't really like the food, just sit at the bar, eat appetizers and drink up. They have TV's all over so if you like sports that's great. I am not really into watching pompous millionaires play a half-ass game of whatever * ..but to each his own.. most the BJs have DirecTV so they play Fuel, Speed, and the more interesting sports.. Each BJ's has a different atmosphere, if you don't like San Bruno, try Foster City or one of the ones that actually brews the beer on site. good for groups if you pick one that has a separate party/meeting room. Not all of them do!

Words cannot describe how much I hate this place. My wife and I used to love it in Portland, OR, but when we moved to SF near this location it quickly became a past time. The service is absolutely the worst I've ever had at any restaurant. And it wasn't an isolated event as I have been here at least a half dozen times. It takes 30+ minutes to get a drink, AT THE BAR, and the food another 30+. Beer is warm, food disgusting, the TV is always blasting some sports game and the waiters act like they have something better to do than serve customers. One day I couldn't take the wait any longer and walked across the parking lot to Hooters. The service was great, the beer cold, the prices decent and I met some goods friends. Never have I returned to B.J.'s since and I don't plan to. I have been to the B.J.'s in Cupertino though and its not nearly as bad, but the San Bruno location is in dire need of new management and new staff.
