Despite not liking most "social" games, there was a value in them: they introduced multitudes who didn't consider themselves gamers to games.  Admittedly, the games were simple and based only on a slightly addictive game mechanic, but they were games.  My guess is that the next generation of social games will involve building something together (albeit asynchronously).

Interbreeding for the win! Also, a chief I was talking to in the highlands of Bougainville says that there are "pygmys" deep in the mountains, and that they are attractged to red crotons. Another branch of Homo Floresiensis? Or more likely a pipe-dream...
