You would think that such features would be taken for granted by now. Those panels must be expensive, but I assume they decided the savings would make them viable.

Are there any figures on whether all the PV panels on domestic roofs and elsewhere are having real benefit, i.e. reducing the coal we burn?
Actually it was my calculation. I've asked the company Solar Century for comment but have not heard back.
