There’s more to employee wellness than what management perceives it to be. For example, the actual “way we work.” Here at Officevibe we think the way that we work is becoming a bit outdated. We are facing a heavier “mental” workload, that typically requires us to be in front of a computer from the morning to the evening. Not to mention the fact that we are living in a generation where management demands expedience for every task; This is messing ...

Words of wisdom for everyone.
Charles D. Ellis, the author of "Winning the Loser's Game," talks with RBC Wealth Management CEO John G. Taft about why most Americans are still woefully underprepared and ill-informed on retirement. He also gives his take on how the financial services industry can improve.

And congress is playing games with our security....

http://news.yahoo.com/korea-us-hold-navy-drill-despite-north-threats-021134962.html
North Korea vowed to wage a "merciless, sacred war" against the United States on Thursday, days before the launch of annual joint South Korea-US military exercises that have incensed Pyongyang. "Nuclear weapons are not a monopoly of the US," the ruling party's official newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, warned in an editorial carried by the state KCNA news agency. North Korea "will wage a merciless sacred war against the US now that the latter has chosen ...

Figuring out how to deal with a state like N. Korea is like trying to read an amateur player at a poker table.  But in both cases, you can't let them gain the upper hand.

Boxem Girl!
Senator Barbara Boxer, in 20 minutes, gave the BEST smackdown to the GOP I have ever seen -- calls them a "national disgrace," and tells them to end their "hostage" taking of the DHS because of the...

Bold! Addressing American Terrorism... and we haven't even started the conversation about the indigenous population.

I'm sure this is a figment of my imagination.  This article has to be false.

A fight over fish and fresh water in California's drought-ridden Central Valley could spill over into a wider conflict.

We better get real.  This is too close to home.  Congress better not close down homeland security. They will be toast!

Weep repugnants.  This will go down in history and it's nothing you can do about it.

Thanks to President Obama the government is showing a Surplus again!!

"“Deficits are rapidly declining,” Paul Edelstein, director of U.S. financial economics at IHS Global Insight Inc. in Lexington, Massachusetts, said before the report according to Bloomberg. “A lot of it is coming on the revenue side, mostly from taxes -- there were increases in payroll taxes last year, which are still being felt this year, corporate profits are up and they are paying more in taxes.”

BM you are deluded.  The only reason your butt is not blown up yet is for people who are willing to do your dirty work for you.  Those quotes you publish are dishonest and ludicrous.  I could post 100 to every one that appreciates people willing to engage in war.  Your myopic view of the world at war is disgusting!  I am so ashamed of the Americans who villainize those who have shed blood for us.  Those people you quote are not the norm, DO NOT TRY TO PAINT THE MILITARY AS SOME DEMON.  They are protecting your freedom so you can have the right to speak this nonsense.  In Iraq, you would be beheaded.
These are just some of the hateful and racist comments from people after the viewing of American Sniper. The movie is about Chris Kyle a Navy Seal sniper who hold the unconfirmed record for the most kills on the job. The film documents his four tours in Iraq, until he returns home where he is ...

Story
Introduction
Born in Los Angeles California and lived there for 45 years. No specific pursuits landed me into the Information Technology Field.  Started out as a system administrator of a small computer manufactured in Switzerland called a Rabbit.  At the time I was working for the USC News Service. Teethed on an Apple MacIntosh for the personal computer industry and moved into the myriad of technologies that exist!

Finished my degree in Economics at USC while working there, obtained a Master's degree in Management Information Systems at the Phoenix University.  I aspire to get a PH.D. from Howard University in the near future.

I am a techominvore... I can't get enough of technology. Love the evolution of the web technologies and plan to continue to expand my expertise and knowledge in the area.

Now serving as a Business Analyst for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid through a small woman owned government contractor ALTA Systems, Inc.
