Can't wait to read this book about DEEP WORK. Improve concentration and focus...something really useful.
In today’s world, doing “deep work” — anything from writing an article, to learning a new skill, to creating an effective business strategy — is tough. There are distractions at every turn. It’s hard to give a task your full attention...

Isn't this funny?

I can't imagine life without google and my google plus friends' posts, shares and comments. I have learned so much and been moved by the extraordinary kindnesses of strangers toward one another.

For you dear reader...
Dearest Book Lover,. Isn't it great to curl up with a good tome? These harsh winter months can be a great time to read a good story; to travel elsewhere through words. We've got authors to watch, reviews and reading recommendations, whether they be printed or e-published.

How can Data Science be used to solve this? http://www.ted.com/talks/richard_wilkinson?language=en
We feel instinctively that societies with huge income gaps are somehow going wrong. Richard Wilkinson charts the hard data on economic inequality, and shows what gets worse when rich and poor are too far apart: real effects on health, lifespan, even such basic values as trust.

Story
Tagline
Writer, Technology Consultant, Speaker -- Please support the charity of your choice.
Introduction
Interested in: increasing and supporting women in STEM, technology and charities.  Complex problem solving is fun - especially involving disparate technologies!

When not reading (science/techo-spy fiction), I study foreign and programming languages.

I live in a multiverse  and enjoy learning more about biology, genetics, physics and exploring neuroscience--particularly  consciousness. Anthropology, sociology, pyschology are interesting also.  I am fascinated with ancient near/mid eastern history (1000-700 AD) & archaeology. .

Free time? I travel--usually not tourist areas, listen to ancient music and look at art-especially textiles/tiles. Enjoy playing harp, piano and violin.

I collect ancient Japanese and Aramaic sayings.

I write about everything, love writing fiction and enjoy exploring the connection between those who have gone before and those who come after.
Bragging rights
When I graduated--computer science--I was the only woman in my class. My first 'internet' was uucp and my computer an Altos 8086, of course one had to load the UNIX kernal first. :)
