We live in a historical time. True dark skies are almost impossible to find. Period.
Researchers estimate in 2025 dark skies will become extinct unless drastic changes are made to the way we approach outdoor lighting. Soon, all of the images I've captured during my career as an avid landscape astrophotographer will no longer be possible due to the growing problems of light pollution. So you may be asking, "What can I do to help?" Follow the +IDA - International Dark-Sky Association
and visit http://www.darksky.org/resources/109-international-dark-sky-week
for ways on how you can make a difference.
I will be posting material all week to help spread the word about International Dark Sky Week and the effects from light pollution. Please share these posts with your friends and family so we can make difference. Stay tuned!
