We're doing it again. Another simple contest for games. Do you like games? Of course you do. You can win some good indie titles over at our lil site. +Felicia Day just for the hell of adding a celebrity tag. Yes, that's how I roll.

"O Daughter of Babylon, who are to be destroyed. Happy the one who repays you as you have served us. Happy the one who takes and dashes your infants against the rock!" Psalm 137 8-9.

HOT DAMN! Let me grab a baby and smash it into a rock in your name!

Feck Ja! About time the US started caring about nuclear power instead of coal and a-bubblin' crude.
ROCKVILLE, Maryland (Reuters) - U.S. regulators on Thursday approved plans to build the first new nuclear power plant in more than 30 years, despite objections of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission cha...

Millions of Americans oppose SOPA and PIPA because these bills would censor the Internet and slow economic growth in the U.S.. Two bills before Congress, known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) in the Sena...

So I'm reviewing Game of Thrones, the video game. I have to say, its pretty slow and myopic. Three chapters down and its been 80% dialog.

Remember kids. Good values, such as incest, start with the great book.

I was referred to Dr. Syms by the Cochlear Company in an attempt to alleviate my single-sided deafness with a product called BAHA. I'd met with Cochlear about a month prior to meeting with Dr. Syms. Their product, the BAHA 3 (at the time) was a fairly state of the art hearing device that I was a perfect candidate to receive in order to restore me to stereo hearing. I'd visited Dr. Syms to discuss the Cochlear device and he demonstrated the product, answered my questions and while his demeanor was more professional and seemed almost too clinical, I didn't have any issue with the information presented. The problem I have, and why I'm only giving 2 stars is when I woke up from surgery, I didn't receive the Cochlear company branded BAHA device I went in there and discussed. I received an open source alternative by a company called Oticon with a device called the Ponto Pro. At first I didn't see any issue with this as it was a device that did essentially the same thing, but as time has gone on, I've realized he's shortchanged my hearing development with an inferior device from a company that isn't nearly as progressive as Cochlear. I addressed this with Dr. Syms who simply wrote it off that he's received reviews that the Oticon is a better processor. While I have no basis to know if that's true or not, I felt deceived by him choosing a product that I didn't go in there to receive. I'm now stuck, by insurance, with this device and if I would like to upgrade to the device that I had intended to receive, the full burden of the price is on me. Additionally, part of the surgery is to remove, via laser, the hair around the abutment site which I don't believe the doctor did. I'm constantly fighting with hair that grows around the abutment and causes feedback with my processor. Between the bait and switch of the product, apparent shortcuts on the procedure and lackluster bedside manner, I can't recommend Dr. Syms. It's a shame that there are so few BAHA specialized ENTs out there or I could have potentially had a better overall experience. While I'm thankful for having my hearing back, the experience of getting to where I am has left much to be desired.
