Basic Information
Had recently booked a Meru cab for an airport drop in Mumbai. Since we did not get the cab details upto 15 minutes before the booking time, we called them back and were told that there is a problem with the messaging and were assured that a cab is on its way. When the cab did not arrive, we called back and were given a driver's number. On calling the driver, we were told that he would not be able to make it and he had informed the Meru call centre. On calling Meru back, the best they could do was an offer an apology. When we asked to speak to a senior, we were assured a call back - and unsurprisingly, nobody called back. This was not the first time we were let down by Meru - however this time there was a high likelihood of us missing our flight as making alternative arrangements for an airport drop at the last minute could have taken time.
