Speak-easy style restaurant/bar with great music. It's the perfect spot for a lunch meeting, happy hour meetup or casual hangout with friends. Favorites: Black and Bleu Burger, Truffle Mac and Cheese and the Electric Ladyland cocktail.

Get ready to be surprised. This hidden dive bar is home to some of the best bar snacks and cocktails in the city. Plus, no one hates a $5 custom cocktail. Sunday and Monday nights are smoke-free and I think they're looking to add more smoke-free nights. Also - I heard they're launching a Sunday biscuit brunch!

Enter through the wine shop, pick out a bottle or two or three, grab some glasses and head to the back patio to grab a table. Order small plates a la carte and enjoy live music and amazing atmosphere. This is definitely the kind of spot you want to hit up with groups of 4 or more because the tables are pretty big and the place fills up fast but I've also had some great times sharing tables with strangers!

This is my one stop dress shop. Vintage inspired, flattering cuts and limited number of styles produced means you won't be running around wearing the same thing as everyone else. I have three dresses from here and they all fit as if they were tailored just for me.

Mimi's is a low key, little bit of everything type of stop. Dive bar + pool table downstairs and small plates, additional bar and music upstairs. Go on a Monday around 8, order the "trust me" plate (trust me) and hang out for free swing dance lessons!
