To be fair to Peter Jackson, it makes sense to have Legolas in the Hobbit movies; he is after all the Elven-King's son... he's several hundred years old (at least) when he appears in the LOTR novels. Therefore it makes sense that he would be around in the time of The Hobbit, even if he isnt in the Hobbit book. Tolkien did not flesh out any characters in the Hobbit book about the Elves(it was a children's book, so I suppose he had no reason at the time to - he didnt even name the Elven-King ; he waited til the ROTK novels to name him ) so I have no trouble with PJ fleshing out and "adding" him in here, because he was in here all along.
On the #Brant #LPC #Liberal nomination front, received her newest endorsement from Sheila Gervais, former National Director of the Liberal Party
Presumably, that is Galadriel helping to rescue Gandalf from Dol Guldur, and presumably that will be near the start of the movie
Nice to see this AM -gets endorsed by Liberal blogger Kyle Hutton - the 1st of the Liberal bloggers to endorse her other then myself (but I don't think the last)
Another new endorsement for Danielle in her #Brant nomination bid to be the #LPC candidate in 2015; Greg Crone - Haldimand-Norfolk Liberal EDA President, and also the VP Communications on the Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) Executive Council, as well as an #OLP provincial candidate in 2011, gives his (video) endorsement.
So I don't see this anywhere on here in my limited search, but for those who frequent Google+ and not Facebook (or if you do both), pleased to see my former blogger colleague and current VP of the Ontario Women's Liberal Commissionseeking the nomination for the LPC nomination in Brant county. I hope you'll check out her website, and consider helping/supporting her (be you in or outside Brant) and if you're not a LPC member, signing up in Brant to become a member (details at her site)
