Cozy spot for brunch. Located in a barn-like setting in a native plant nursery, even though it's off the Cabrillo Highway, you feel like you're on holiday off the coast. The right-sized portions are reasonable and lots of dishes feature gluten free! We tried out the: * Breakfast sandwich - Frittata framed with crusty bread * Whole grain waffle - Served with real maple syrup * Hot chocolate - Best part was the whipped cream whipped up from scratch, none of this aerosol stuff I couldn't pass up their gluten free coffee cake. A generous square cost $2. Add to that an Americano and I was set. Price-wise, I don't recall the exact amount, but breakfast for three came to less than $25 including drinks and tax. Wow. They even use Fiestaware! So cheerful and colorful. Love those dishes! Seating is limited inside, so you just have to time it right. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside in the garden setting - which is also quite nice! The weekend we were there a local band played lovely early American music complete with fiddles, guitar and an interesting stringed percussion instrument! (The woman was sitting down and hitting strings with two sticks.) Definitely coming back here when I'm in the area. We even picked up a native plant for the garden!

The building and garden/landscaping store is amazing. It has a great coffeehouse feel, with a small-town/country vibe to it. Great place to get a coffee and chill out. They also have food there, but the only thing I tried was the (gluten-free) apple coffee cake. The coffee is so-so. The latte we got was waaaaaay to sweet. The mexican mocha was good, not great, but totally acceptable. The coffee really is just an excuse to enjoy the serene setting.

Lovely little coffee house! Very quaint & cozy atmosphere. Fresh baked pastries as well as other breakfast foods (oatmeal, breakfast burrito, waffle, granola, etc.). Service is friendly and food/drinks come out quickly. I'm most pleasantly surprised that there's a shelf by the register with board games! How freakin' cute is that?!! Brewed coffee is good and less expensive then the corporate chains charge. The out door seating area is filled with lots of plants, many of which you can purchase. If it were warm and sunny I would venture out to the outside benches. Parking lot is small, but that's the only down side.
