Had waited in line for 30 minutes or so, then seated at a table with 2 other couples. We were all strangers to each other. Asked why, and told "You sit here". Baffetto then cleared table and without washing his hands, picked up paper for table, laughing, and stuck in front of all of us. Then picked up silverware, etc and did same. By that time, I felt eating wasn't going to get any better so left. Went to the Super Market next door, and while there one of his waiters showed up to purchase meat. Looks like I was the lucky one. Didn't have to figure out, service, nor food wasn't their priority. Choose somewhere else and save yourself the wait.

Overconfident staff forgot that customer service and courtesy are important. The pizza was oily and terrible. They seated other people before me and later insisted I waited for the bill at the table, while the waiter took a long time to get back to me. Finally I got up and said "I'll pay at the cashier" and he had the guts to say, "No, you pay at the table like I said!" Excuse me! So I said, "When?" He paused and said, "Now" and then I gave him Euro 50 and he had to go to the cashier for the change. Holy cow! If you're gonna have a "pay at the table" rule, can you please prepare change? Duh!! Naturally, I went down to take my change. No "Thank You", no "Good bye"... he just waved his hands up to tell his friend to give me the change. Do not go to this pizzeria. It is full, but the pizza is not good and the service is even worse

Da Baffetto used to be one of the ways that I would convince myself that I was in Rome again, it was a regular early visit after arrival in the city. Alas, it has gone massively downhill over the last few years and will no longer be on my list of places to go to. The pizza was clearly composed of the cheapest possible components, and really rather unappetising.

They don't care client satisfaction. Staff is qiite rude and overconfident. They don't even speak english... They try to throw you out as soon as possible and sit other people in your place. Pizza is not special at all and clearly overpriced. Beers are disgusting. The place is small and unconfortable. They have a "shared table" policy. I don't recommend this place at all.

The pizza I suppose was very good but not to my personal liking. They are very busy and while it's not like they're standing over your shoulder, they do clear the plates as soon as your done and ask what you want next so it feels a bit rushed. The house wine is not that great but the pizza seems to be high quality. I had pizza and a quarter liter of wine for €15 so I suppose not terrible. If I had one meal left in Rome though, I would probably go somewhere else instead.
