The long queues were a tip that this was going to be a great place to eat. So we arrived as they opened and got a table. Quick service despite the full house and a great pizza from a wood oven.

The best pizza in Rome and possibly the best pizza I ever had! Expect a queue when you get there but worth waiting. If you are looking for the best pizza, this is it! No need to go anywhere else

Da Baffetto is an institution that arguably serves the best pizza in Rome. The place commands a crowd during lunch and dinner so get there early and do not be fooled by the sparse interior. This is the place to go.

There are no words to justly describe my love for this place! Try the pizza with squash blossoms, zucchini and eggplant.

Best thin crust pizza i ever ate! Despite the wait in the queue and not even getting your own table - we felt it was also the best service we had in Rome. Waiters are friendly, smiling and don't try to rip you off. Very recommended!

Found it difficult to find, as there are many little side streets in this area, but it was worth it as they have beautiful pizza. Really enjoyed it. Great spot to go to after visiting the Piazza Navona.

I visited in September 2013. The place is difficult to find but well worth the effort. Amazing pizza and atmosphere. Don't expect a restaurant as this place is a down to earth no frills eatery. I was on my own and was seated after a 10 minute wait next to two lovely local woman. Expect to share tables as the atmosphere is informal. The service was friendly and efficient as long as you make an effort to speak some Italian. The food is top notch and cheap (€12 for the most expensive pizza, €3 for a large peroni)I counted three priests in the place when I was there. Says it all.

WARNING! Read below... 1) There are bigger and tastier home made pizzas for less money in Trastevere. It's only fame they have. 2) We were two and they seated us with another couple of strangers 3) The tables and chairs are worst than my camping set. 4) The tablecloth was worst than a newspaper. 5) They have a policy of only 1 order per table. If you want to order a pizza and later a calzoni you can't. You have to order everything at once as they say they have people waiting outside. 6) The staff was disgusting (I left no tip at all). 7) Be prepared to be rushed so that you free the table for others to come. You almost have to choke with the pizza and beer. AVOID THIS PLACE.
