Apparently Apple doesn't understand what 1080p HDMI really means.

If you are at all interested in physics, energy, or sustainable growth, and the engineering problems we face as a society check out this blog. It's extremely well written and very informative.

Automotive PSA - If your TPMS equipped vehicle continues to display a low tire pressure warning light even after you fill all four tires to the correct pressure, check the spare's pressure too.

Real nerds celebrate Pi Day on the 15th hour of the 182nd day of the year when we have revolved 180 degrees (half way) around the Sun.

Dear Boeing, Musk owns Tesla Motors (the car company that builds awesome electric vehicles) and SpaceX (the company that launched the first privately funded spacecraft to dock with the ISS). Listen to what he says, grok it, and then fix your airplane so you don't ruin the US aerospace industry.

Pro-tip - if you want to install drivers during Windows XP setup with a USB FDD, be sure you have one of these: http://bit.ly/V4jdL4.
Describes an issue where you cannot use an unsupported USB floppy disk drive when you press F6 to install mass storage drivers during a Windows XP installation operation.

Terrible. Waited 20 minutes for menus (after being seated) close to 40 minutes for our food order to be taken. I had the bangers and mash (traditional Irish/English dish with sausage and mashed potatoes). I was extremely hungry so I ate most of it, but was probably the worst example of bangers and mash I've ever had. Served with beef gravy from a jar, plain mashed potatoes, and basically breakfast sausage links. There's a BBQ place next door, will try that next time.

We had a whole chicken, rice, yucca, and coleslaw. Very delicious! The sauces are great too!
