Wonderful jackets! I really love what you have done with the fabrics in both of them. The "denim" fabric really intrigues me. Is it something available for sale, maybe on Spoonflower or from yourself or is it something we can learn how to do? It is fabulous.

Thanks for the inspiration.

I like the frankenpattern and think it will be more flattering. Definitley do the piping. Just make sure that is thin thin leather. You know I love piping  and can't wait to see what you do. I piped a jacket once with patent leather but actually used a very thin costume patent leather from Joanns. It worked great.

I've always loved this color. I still long for the cobalt velvet sheath I made, bateau neckline, deep vee in the back. Somehow it disappeared in a house move  and I have missed it like a stuffed toy ever since.

These are all great but my faves are number one and number three. I think number three is perfect for you.

This is sooo perfect for work and  it looks great. You do too! Did you fuse the fabric? Just curious. The last one I did was the "easy" method too. The only difference other than couture details which only us purists would notice is that the Couture version just felt yummier. I will definitley use the "simple" techiniques again. Great job, Kristine and great to hear from you.
