I came to Bicycle Experience for help taking apart an old frame. I had just gone to Ted's Bike shop, where I was told that they couldn't help me. Bicycle Experience is a sweet shop, with new and used stuff. Someone helped me right away and went to work on dismantling the bike's crank and fork, much of which was rusted and annoying to deal with. Everyone there was super chill and after helping me with my bike, they didn't even charge me. I'm gonna come here for all future bike related purchases

This was the first shop I've poked my head into, and this is where I'll be purchasing my bike. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. If you're just getting into biking weather it be cycling to mountain biking or you're a veteran check these guys out. Bubba will get you hooked up!

These guys are a joke, way too much ego. We've seen them on the trail a couple times, and it's amazing how arrogant they are when their skillsets are so lacking.

Awesome shop, no bs. best maintenance costs in town. it's great to see a shop involved with more than just one discipline of cycling that also caters to all experience levels.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to go to a great bike shop...try Bicycle Experience. It is hands down the best bike shop that I've been to in years. The entire staff is knowledgeable and ever better than that, they're awesome human beings. I can't say enough good things about that place. I will do business with them from now on...and I don't even live in Colorado Springs...if you like a personal touch with your biking experience, then by all means give these guys a call.

in the last week
I came in 45 minutes before closing midway with two badly converted tubeless tires - I'd tried to do it myself and it hadn't gone so well. Todd put aside other work to help me out, as I was driving out of town the next morning. A week later, it's still holding air, and I've been on some gnarly trails that my old tubes could never have handled. Thanks!!

I traded in an old bike and walked away with a new one. These guys really took care of us...We felt welcome right away, and Todd was very patient with us and let us check out several bikes. They gave me a fair price for my old bike and a fair price for a new bike. I couldn't be happier!!!!!!

I wish I could like this place. I was in yesterday for some minor maintenance and was asking questions about forks, shocks and brakes. "Bubba" was seriously put off by my questions and told me "he's not a shock guy." I asked who was and got a blank stare. While I was waiting I asked about an XT brake set, Bubba gave me a price and walked away. I asked what I needed to do to get this going, he literally turned his back and started eating his salad and talking bmx to another customer. I went home and ordered the brake set online. Granted, I came in wearing dirty carharts and a work shirt, but I also came in carrying an expensive wheelset. Bubba made it clear that I was wasting his time. Yesterday was the last time I spend money in that shop, and will do my best to spread the word. I don't know where these cats come from, but they really need to take care of their locals better. Bike shops don't survive solely on fixing kids bikes and flats for Broadmoor folk. Forgot to mention, went in the week before to ask about some trail info, the owner Todd knew nothing of the trail (missing link between Elk Park and Jones), when asked if he knew anyone that might, he said if he didn't know about it no one else would, wow, really. I guess the moral is, anyone can be a badass on facebook
