Great experience at my local bike shop. They fixed my front derailleur while I waited. Also made me a heck of a deal on a new 29er. Stoked! Who cares if it's snowing. I'm riding.

This is the only place I'll ever take a bike for repairs. Not only do you get exceptional value on their work, they're quick too! Sometimes they'll take care of you immediately (when other places would hold on to your bike for days). They're always friendly. You feel like part of the community when you enter.

I will never trust this place again. I loved it under the previous owner, but the new owner is not client focused; he decided not to honor commitments of the previous owner--which is fine, but bicycle experience staff didn't alert me of this change 1) when I made the appointment on the phone, 2) when I dropped the bike off. They just charged me more than I expected when the bike was picked up. My advice, with all the great bike shops along the front range, go somewhere else.

Ok, so I've read a lot of the reviews and it sounds like I got that one short straw. I took my bike in about a month ago to get it tuned up. The brakes needed readjustment and the chain was going. I told them to fix everything that needed fixing and I would pick up the tab. I come back 2 days later to pick it up and what do I find? Brakes still unadjusted, brake pads still worn down, chain maybe got cleaned, and maybe they ran a rag over the handles to make them look clean. Needless to say I payed them to do nothing. I went to a different shop (Ted's) and they ended up having to replace both tires (dry rot), the chain (old age), take apart and clean the stem (it was squeaking), and replace both brake pads. I love my bike and ride it nearly every day, so having this shop tell me they fixed everything only to have another shop SHOW me the damage on my bike was infuriating. Simply said, tell them what to do and check to make sure they actually did what they are billing you for.

I wish I could like this place. I was in yesterday for some minor maintenance and was asking questions about forks, shocks and brakes. "Bubba" was seriously put off by my questions and told me "he's not a shock guy." I asked who was and got a blank stare. While I was waiting I asked about an XT brake set, Bubba gave me a price and walked away. I asked what I needed to do to get this going, he literally turned his back and started eating his salad and talking bmx to another customer. I went home and ordered the brake set online. Granted, I came in wearing dirty carharts and a work shirt, but I also came in carrying an expensive wheelset. Bubba made it clear that I was wasting his time. Yesterday was the last time I spend money in that shop, and will do my best to spread the word. I don't know where these cats come from, but they really need to take care of their locals better. Bike shops don't survive solely on fixing kids bikes and flats for Broadmoor folk. Forgot to mention, went in the week before to ask about some trail info, the owner Todd knew nothing of the trail (missing link between Elk Park and Jones), when asked if he knew anyone that might, he said if he didn't know about it no one else would, wow, really. I guess the moral is, anyone can be a badass on facebook

The owner Todd is always on duty, If you tell him your needs he will show the available options, I bought 2 used bikes there, both were for a great price. Bicycle Experience is a non corporate store that still has very reasonable prices. Overall if you are looking for a bike shop that has a large range of options based off your budget Bicycle Experience is the store you are looking for.

This seems like a great place, but my only experience is when I brought in my road bike to get a new tube. I have had my road bike for years and never needed to replace a tube, but after being in storage for two years, it needed it. Because I'd never needed to replace it, I didn't know what size to get. The guy at the shop said it was probably a certain size(but didn't really know), which later I saw was too big compared to the marking on the tread. Needless to say, after the tube popped out of the tire it exploded in the car on the way back to the shop. I have heard things aren't great here at all after management changed, that is unfortunate.

Just purchased a KHS 3000 4-seasons "fatty", and needless to say there is no better place to purchase a bike. I have limited knowledge of bikes to include comparison of similar models' components, price, and additional accessories. They patiently answered the many questions I had, and made the process very easy. Already hit the trail with the new bike, and I am very comfortable knowing that this shop will take care of you if you have any issues. This is of course complemented by the fact that you have supported a local business. Do yourself a favor and look no further for a great bike shop.
