I agree with Kant's epistemology, so as a Catholic I find it intriguing the possible connection between Kant's epistemology and modern agnosticism. Kant's epistemology does not ipso facto rule out the possibility of metaphysical knowledge, as Thomas Aquinas himself was both an empiricist and a metaphysician. I would argue that if there is a connection between Kant's epistemology and modern agnosticism, it's a result of deep misunderstanding rather than genuine A to B reasoning.
