I love this idea...
A US organisation is hoping a plan to create cities which float on the ocean will see them not only produce their own food but establish their own governments. The Seasteading Institute says it hopes the floating microcountries will allow for experimentation with new ideas which current ...

The cure for cancer, measles

Researchers at the Mayo Clinic have completed a groundbreaking new test: They knocked widespread blood cancer into remission with a single massive blast of measles vaccine.

“It’s a landmark. We’ve known for a long time that we can give a virus intravenously and destroy metastatic cancer in mice. Nobody’s shown that you can do that in people before,” Dr. Stephen Russell

Try eating sushi in a certain order to maximise flavour. Interesting...

Sushi... Is it lunch time yet?

Sushi is definitely one of my favorite foods. And now I've even learned a thing or two about it - thanks to an infographic at +DashBurst.

Not that I am going to take much of it seriously, but it was entertaining.

Sushi: thumbs up or down from you?

A great alternative to the office Kris Kringle from the team at +HTA Advisory +Troy Townley
The “Kris Kringle” gift amongst the team has lost its shine here at HTA so this year we decided to sponsor a child from World Vision; introducing Clarice.

Hot search topics for Australia...

The State of the Nation: the issues that matter across Australia

We took a look at search interest around the key issues of the economy, health care, broadband, marriage equality, climate change, education, and families from the past 12 months. Here's what we found:

- VIC and *SA have the strongest interest in health, which includes searches on the government’s NDIS scheme and Medicare. These states also have a high interest in education matters such as the Gonski plan and school funding.

- WA and QLD have the highest proportion of search interest in economic issues such as tax, interest rates, and employment.

- TAS and NSW showed the strongest interest in broadband and the NBN. Tasmanians were almost twice as likely to search about marriage equality on Google than the rest of Australia.

- NSW and VIC have higher than national average searches for family issues such as paternity leave and childcare.

Introduction
By day I'm a passionate marketer with a particular interest in online marketing and social media marketing. My background is in travel marketing, so naturally I love working with tourism related clients.

By night I'm generally enjoying a glass of wine with my partner and playing mum to my gorgeous Border Collie Archie.

I'm driven by creativity, sugar kicks and meeting new people. I occasionally (not as much as I should) blog and it's generally related to tips for the travel industry or social media small business strategies.
