Given that there are already both thin clients and nearly-full implementations of Bitcoin on Android, this would certainly make it easy to build a Bitcoin PoS, wouldn't it!

The unofficial Bitcoin StackExchange Twitter account was down for a while yesterday. Apparently Twitter decided that the twurl.nl URL shortening service was a potential source of malware and blocked it. Thanks to the wonders of open-source, the app that does the tweeting was quickly modified to use goo.gl and we're back up!

When TradeHill initially tumbled and burned, I recall that Dwolla had something to do with it. It seems only likely that this would be the fallout from February's fires. I guess we'll see how the courts proceed with it.

+Khaled Alaghil it's a system that is only 2 years old and infrastructure still needs to be built before it is considered ubiquitous. But the potential convenience of using Bitcoin exists today. I can tell you that in the US, I can deposit cash in a local bank and receive Bitcoins within 2 hours. Soon, I hope, it will be the same in Yemen and all places around the world. I suggest that you network with people and think creatively when trying to obtain and use the currency. For instance, you could buy something for a friend via his amazon wish list using your credit card and he could send you bitcoins for buying his wish list items.

Strong Cryptography, Strong Economics, Strong Currency.
Introduction
Bitcoin is an experimental new digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone, anywhere in the world. Bitcoin uses peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority: managing transactions and issuing money are carried out collectively by the network. Bitcoin is also the name of the open source software which enables the use of this currency.
