Interesting read
Before everyone jumps right off a bridge because this article doesn't say their favorite framework is cooler than the other side of the pillow, read here :

"The article is intentionally provocative. Of course, frameworks have certain advantages, but still, they cultivate ignorance. It's a shame when someone can not solve a problem without a framework and gets stuck in work for days and weeks. In fact, it’s really simple if we pay attention to the right things, to architectural solutions. That’s what I was trying to tell you about. Hope this article will be useful for beginners, and the described approach will make them cool programmers in the future."

For years I have been using Dreamweaver to write my code. I specially like the easy CTRL+SHIFT+U to save and upload the file to the server, and the ability to simply drag and drop images, scripts, css into the code and it automatically creates the references. But it's also missing some great features like multi-caret editting (see image). But  it's always good to look for (free) alternatives. This multi-caret thing looks pretty awesome and i had numerous occasions where this would be handy. I found SynWrite among many others. Anyone have any experience with SynWrite? What are your thoughts? Or do you know other great free alternatives to Dreamweaver that also have FTP upload support?

There is just so much going on
a tree being grown and shredded,  a battery never charging, a dustcart,
a big wheel, it kept me entertained for ages, enjoy!
