Editor's Note: The deforming glacier is the greatest part of this image. The flow not only divides and creates poise but it also leads the eye through the entire image. This composition would not have existed if this shot were anything other than an aerial. The most interesting patterns can be seen from the air and the photographer graciously proves this.
This week, Interface launched a new competition this week inviting architects, designers and students to submit visions for how nature can influence the design of a new or existing space, both within built environments or outside.
I'm taking an arboriculture course and today in class I had to bite my tongue soooo many times.... There is a lot of education needed in our industry, friends. I'll site some example, soon - gotta drive. :-)
