NPR, I love you, but I really wish you'd get off the mainstream medicine bandwagon. The newest story that is making me want to chuck things at the radio: salt is bad for us!

I caught an NPR segment on the flu shot when I was running errands the other day. Made me want to throw things at the radio. This is an excellent post on why you should ignore people who tell you that you need a flu shot!
Find out what the evidence (rather than the hype) says about flu shots.

Awesome post from +Real Food Freaks. How many times have you heard, "Oh, it's not going to kill them?"

I'm looking for a good fish cookbook. I'm trying to get more fish into our diets but I don't know many ways to cook it. Suggestions?

Oh, and we don't/can't own a grill, so anything that heavily relies on grilling wouldn't work. Thanks!

Do you think that wanting to eat wholesome, high-quality food makes you a food snob? Apparently Dr. Oz does. I loved this refutation from +Granny's Vital Vittles

I made this coconut chicken curry from +And Here We Are... on Saturday. It was so good! I used cooked stewing hen meat instead of a whole raw chicken, which worked great. We finished up the leftovers today. I will have to make it again sometime soon.
