Do any of you guys get a dull ache in the middle of the back of your head for a few days after doing shoulder stand? Am I pushing myself too hard? It feels like the onset of a headache in the back of my head. Happens every time I do shoulder stand. I do neck stretches before hand. Any tips?
To keep your elbows closer, trying using a strap. Buckle the strap so that the circle it forms is shoulder width, (you can measure it by placing it shoulder to shoulder across your chest) then place the strap above your elbows before getting up into the pose that way you can be assured that your elbows are the correct distance.
