Ambiance - Went around 5pm on a Friday, and it was not overflowing, but there was a steady stream of people. - There's a large variety of fun hot sauces you can choose to use, and whole wall of hot sauce you can buy from as well. Got the Three Meats Platter - $13 - brisket - very nice and moist. - chicken - more tender than I generally expect chicken to be, so t was nice - pulled pork - a bit dry unfortunately Sides - collard greens - generally don't like them, but this was super stewed with a few bits of bacon, and had the right amount of salt and vinegar flavor - cole slaw - not vinegary or pickled as I would like, but has a nice crunch with a variety of veggies - fries - just the right amount of slat and flavoring, though it was on the bendier side than crisp Service - We split the platter between two of us, and they were nice enough to provide an extra bun

Went on a Wednesday for lunch and we got are food fast. Pulled chicken was excellent so were all the sides. A little on the pricey side but definitely worth it.

The food certainly is not carry out standard so I don't understand why the restaurant is so small and cramped. I would give a higher rating if it weren't for that fact.

I have been here for take out a few times. I have gotten the three meat platter as well as a pulled beef sandwich. Both were great, however, I wish they put more sauce on the platter. The corn pudding is phenomenal and the cucumber salad is refreshing.

This seems to be the place on the NW side for BBQ. As a BBQ lover I had to check it out. We ordered the food to go, which took a wile to get, but I got to admire their huge sauce selection they have for sale. They also have a pot where you can lade your own extra sauce to bring home which is cool. When I opened my takeout box, I was a little disappointed. I ordered the 3-meat combo and it was hard to distinguish which was which. it kinda looked like a big mess, which is OK for BBQ. The flavor was decent, but not the best I ever had. I would definitely go back if was in the area again.

Restaurant was a bit small. Food was overall good and tasty. Was reasonably priced and came out quickly. Definitely would recomend for bbq in DC.
