Officials are searching for an escaped cobra in FL but its owner says not to worry because one of his pet lizards, which is large enough and also venomous, most likely ate it.

I've been looking for a comedy to watch to help my mind relax from everything going on in the world and stumbled upon Soap. I remember watching this with my parents when I was a kid but didn't realize how brilliant it really was until I started watching it again. It reminds me a lot of Arrested Development and seriously is a really great show!

I'm fascinated by consciousness and quantum mechanics. I think the most amazing part of this article was when they said lithium may work at a quantum level for treating bipolar disorder.

As a fellow introvert I'm looking forward to reading this to help with some of my social anxiety!
I know many of you are authors, and you can appreciate how hard it is to navigate the publishing world.

My mentor, +Vanessa Van Edwards, is releasing her book, Captivate, in April, and is now taking pre-orders. Pre-orders can help publishers determine how to best market your book, so the more pre-orders, the better data.

The book is a practical way to apply the science of human behavior, and I can tell you first hand it works in ways that you can't even imagine.

I am an introvert, and I have a really hard time in crowds. I don't like approaching people I don't know. But with Vanessa's help, I've gotten a lot better, and I've made some really great new friends and better connections with the people I had just superficial connections with.

Does this sound like something you would like to do?
The book will help you find out the secret of making connections with people, finding out more about them, and not being as nervous in a networking or high-pressure situation.

Thanks for your consideration!

This is a big deal.
There was an hour and a half meeting today, an hour of which was open, half hour was closed to press which was to discuss prices.

The general plan is this:
Normally drug development takes a number of years and millions of dollars. It requires 3 phases of clinical trials, sometimes,4, each one bigger and targeting a different goal. The first is for pharmacokinetics/dynamics, and dose finding, the second, a little bigger, looks at safety primarily, and some efficacy, the third must be large enough to test statistical significance of both efficacy and safety in large populations. Even then, many types of people are excluded, so phase 4 trials or they require monitoring afterward.

The phase 3 cost money, and are likely the ones that will be pared down to much smaller trials and time frames, with possibly only a safety endpoint and one efficacy endpoint. It's likely they will push a drug right to approval very quickly, and then just monitor in the general population for adverse events, similar to a fast track they use now for orphan or cancer drugs. The trade-off might be the real measure of statistical significant effect due to loss of real power from too small an "n" and time on trial.

I'll keep you updated as things progress on this.
It really depends on the detail of the arrangements.

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened. :)

I've often wondered about that. I've always said it would kill me if anything ever happened to my boys and it looks like that could be true.
