All the stories about how awesome Lego customer service is, brings back some fond memories from my childhood. They were already awesome in the 80s :)
Not only would they send replacement pieces for free when I called their customer service desk, once I wrote a letter asking if they did visitor tours at "The Lego Factory" which got an awesome response. Okay, I didn't meet the Lego version of Willy Wonka, but they did send me a great book on the history of Lego, along with some other things. I lost it along with my whole Lego collection in the process of growing up, kinda gutted about that now :( Thankfully, they have Star Wars sets now. No, I do not want that "wrapped as a gift", thank you.
