We went to a location nearer to the Duomo which doesn't yet exist on Google Maps. That being said, I think it was the highlight of our gelato experience in Italy (Rome, San Gimignano, La Spezia, Cinque Terre, Florence and Venice). My favorite flavor was bergamot however we went twice during our stay and noticed the flavors changed day to day! All that we had was great.

Sooo much better than the other gelaterias around the tourist areas. You can actually taste the flavors of the ingredients as opposed to just overwhelming sweetness with no other dimension (which is what the other stores sell). Been here twice in a four-day visit to Florence, and we'll be looking for the Rome location as well. You know they care about quality as none of the gelato is displayed in a big mound, they are kept cold and covered in buckets. They sell based on the amazing flavour, not visual tricks. Yum!

Arrived here in a rainy weather, wasn't particularly warm day so no one was buying here (which made me worried for a second) Got a bergamot (super delicious!), a certain cheese one ( wasn't very memorable taste) and pistachio ( can't never go wrong with this flavor) Was eating inside the shop to avoid the rain, kinda acting as a live ad eating there. Great jazz music and nice atmosphere!

Was traveling Italy in April, a friend recommended this place and I'm glad she did. I got coconut and lavender and it was SO delicious. I was afraid the lavender was going to be overwhelmingly floral but it was perfectly delicate with flavor. YUM!

The best pistachio gelato I had so far in Italy. (tried more than 10 different shops in Roma and Florence)

Very nice. Come for the hazelnut; it's in their name for a reason. Biscotti also good. :)

fantastic gelato, the best in Italy. the hazelnut, lavanda, pistachio flavor are extremely good. The typical Florence flavor is strongly recommended.
