We visited on July 22, and found the four central gardens interesting & folklore, well, quirky. The links made to St Brigit, I thought to be a bit strained. The meditative ambience was a bit tricky to find, with a weed-wacker and ride on mower droning away all the time we visited - I suppose they have to do maintenance sometime. They also had a children program operating for the holiday & which was nice for the kids, but having twenty (something) pre-teens tearing around... you get the idea! At 8€ pp would say fine, if "New Age" is your bag.

Off the beaten path and worth the 2km drive off the main road awaits a non-profit garden situated around the seasons of the year. Full of Celtic culture, learning stations for children and walks and hideaways for friends and couples to walk and get lost in their surroundings. -Go for the flora -Go for a romantic day -Go to get out of town and enjoy the natural scenery, standing stone and outdoor art installations. -Go to educate children about the ways of the early people and how they incorporated sustainability in their environment. -Ask about their Halloween/ Samhain event - Go for the unique gift shop. Leslie, thank you for this great review! I think you pretty much summed up all the different (and great) reasons to visit us. We try to cater to different groups, and they each have their own reasons for coming. We're so glad that our efforts have paid off.

Unique garden exploring Pagan Celtic Irish connection with nature. Centre appears to cater to lots of different groups and community activities. Shop stocks good relevant literature on Irish Celtic Mythology and Religion. Staff are very helpful. The coffee is excellent and the food is good.

Lovely varied gardens with plenty of play areas for children and a nice cafe on site make this a decent stop. Probably best seen in dry weather, as there is little indoor or covered areas.
