Check-in wait time at 7:45 pm was awesome - nobody ahead of or behind us; room was clean, bed was very comfortable (I like the blanket sandwiched between 2 sheets for sanitary reasons); the double showerheads were incredible although the doors were very odd. We loved the remodeled rooms and staff was friendly without being annoying. I agree with the other reviewer that the walls were very thin, leaving little privacy. Overall, we'd return for sure.

I stayed at the golden nugget for an all expense 5 day conference as a photographer, so I couldn't give a review on the price. What I will say though is that this hotel is above average, but it does have its down sides. The first time I walked into my room I was amazed. Nice flat screen TV, The room was incredibly clean, and we had a spectacular view of downtown AC. The only down side is that the walls were pretty thin, I could hear people's conversation in the next room, which kind of interfered with my sleep. What I was really impressed with was the pool and activity area, I Loved the colors, and I loved the artificial turf they had in the activity area where they had volleyball and Bocce ball. The only downside is that as big as that pool was, they could've made it deeper than 4ft. Other than that, my experience was pretty awesome, and I would probably come back again.

Me and my boyfriend went their for our birthday in July, we stayed for 3 days, absolutely loved it and i had a great streak in their casino. And the chart house was yummy. Loved that it was away from the chaos of the strip, it was peaceful, beautiful views, and relaxing

Our room was clean & beautiful - equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom shower was the best. Our dinner at Michael's was delicious. We also ate at the Bean & Bread. This is a great place to get a snack or quick breakfast anytime especially early in the AM. Our only disappointment & it was a small one, was the casino itself. Some of the areas were on the darker side & the machines were hard to see the screen & buttons to push. We think it could use some modern help & brighter lights. But we give them 4 Stars. Catharine & I enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel, good value during weekdays. Room was good, clean and modern. Nice view to the Marina. There is free self-parking, valet parking costs $10. During check-in, we were told that our room is upgraded to "luxury", but were not told that we had to pay for that upgrade. Only found that out during check-out. In the self-parking area, saw a car with a smashed window - watch out for crack-heads.

Nice hotel, and very nice people. We ended there after an other hotel was fully booked, and we got a nice surprise. The staff was very friendly, and the tables were hot ;) The only problem i had was at the reception. We checked in at 10 PM, and we waited more than 25 minutes for the nice woman to accept us. It really wasn't her fault, since she was the only person at the reception, and beside checking customers in and out, she needed to do baggage storage and other running. With little more improvements, they can be great!

Just came from Golden Nugget after two days get away with my wife. We traveled from DC and arrived 3:35PM waited a long line to check-in about 10 minutes. At 3:45PM which is 15 minutes earlier from check-in time, the gust attendant told us to wait until the check-in time. After waited the 15 minutes and waited the line for the second time the gust attendant told us 'the room is not ready'. We asked to talk to the manager, immediately she gave us the room. We were booked a luxury room, but the room has no conformer. There was not much vegetarian food options in all restaurants in Golden Nugget, if you are a vegetarian or looking for vegan, it is not the option for you. The pool was not ready till noon.

I absolutely love the Golden Nugget! Self parking is easy and the walk isn't far to the main area. Check in is quick. The rooms are gorgeous! They are sort of small, but the iPod dock, decor, and dual shower heads make up for it. I have visited Lillian's and Chart House and enjoyed my meal at both places. The room walls are thin so I make sure to always request a room that is not adjoining and quiet. The shops are pretty cool and they have some nice looking lounges. The spa is nice too. I love the Wine & WiFi area, very contemporary. Not into gambling, so I can't comment on that. Haven't been to the pool area (I usually go during winter months) but they say that they are heated and open year-round. All in all, a great experience always. Hands down my favorite Atlantic City resort out of the ones at which I've stayed so far.
