Yes Finale WAS great - a few years back when they actually had good service. Today we went to have desserts and coffee (4 of us) and as we had to order (no table service until 5pm it was 4pm) we ordered 4 coffees and 4 desserts and 4 waters. We were informed that there was no water in glasses available on the table and in fact not even for table service. That's horrendous since last time we went, we were greeted with ice water (you realize we are having high end sugary desserts) and water is necessary - we could buy it however. We left and went to Cafe Nero where they were excellent and the wait staff was perfect as was the coffee. Will never return and skip this one please and head to Cafe Nero

I have been here a couple of times and have always had wonderful service and food. To be clear, I have never eaten anything more than dessert here although I understand that they do have other options as well. The food is always wonderful. They produce some of my favorite desserts in the Boston area.

Extremely unfriendly service. The waiter offered us water only after we asked for it and between 5 adults he brought only 2 glasses of water!!!!!!!!! ( Tables next to us were served water right when the customer came) They our bill was $32 and we rounded up to $35(which was generous for poor service) but he ended up charging us $40 on my credit card. Pastries were good but if you are looking for experience, then this is the place you should avoid at all cost.

This is a popular place for dessert because they're open pretty late and you can come just to get desserts and drinks. But honestly, the desserts are pretty overpriced. They're good desserts but nothing too special compared to what you can get at other restaurants. It's a quiet place that makes it good for conversation for a date or between friends, but if you're looking for really good desserts, go elsewhere.

On a hot summer day, their air conditioning was apparently broken and the place was warm. That was our first sign to leave. We were seated next to an open door and cigarette smoke from outside was bothering my family; they have severe asthma. Our waitress was nice enough to shut the door until another family came in and asked for the door to be opened. Their waiter opened the door wide open without even apologizing or offering us a different table. That was our second sign to just leave. There was another couple sitting next to us, the lady wore a burkha, and we heard them tell their waiter that they were waiting too long. That was our third sign to say something or make a scene. However great the desserts are, the rudeness of one waiter is all it takes to get the low rating.

It's a nice place for dessert but it's overprice and not for hungry's. Their moltens for two are pretty nice but there are just for one in quantity.

I've had really really terrible service here, and friends who worked here years ago and said management was terrible. However the food has always been delicious and the desserts especially are terrific. A great place to go if you're staying at one of the hotels in the area.

Finale. This is your dessert destination hence the name. I am a big fan of this place not because of the cool dessert bar and hip after dinner crowd but for the quality of the actual dessert. I typically judge a dessert not on it's quantity but of course on the quality... well who do I quantify that you ask? Well when I take a bite of a dessert, it is so rich and SO satisfying that I almost don't need another bite! The explosion of flavor is so key. Yes, its high calorie and super fattening but hey life is short, EAT FINALE. If you're worried about your weight, just read my Boston gym reviews, the Flourless chocolate cake will burn off in no time! Tip: You're date on a Saturday night... go get yourself the mini flourless chocolate cake. Take it home put it in the microwave for 15 seconds (16 and it might explode!)....oh my.... who needs a date!

Finale hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
