Here we go again. Pay attention: Many years ago, a fellow faculty member, molecular biologist, grumbled that he didn't understand why I was given the first shipment of Pentium computers (yes, that long ago) to the department. I replied, tongue-in-cheek, "Well, anytime you'd like to do something novel, like say, test a hypothesis, just come on down to the lab and I'll show you how."
