This is a panorama stitched from 112 individual shots using my Sony A7Rii. It is 1.7 Gigapixels measuring 5-3/4 ft. x 23 ft. (1.75m x 7m). It is one of the largest images I have done. It was especially difficult due to high dynamic range of light from rising sun to dark areas on far right. The Sony A7Rii made it possible using a Canon 70-200mm lens @ 200mm, f-32/ 1/1000th sec. ISO 800.

The image as shown is:

July 23, 2017, On our way to Alaska, we stayed at Boya Lake BC. Boya Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located 120 km north-by-northwest of the community of Dease Lake, British Columbia near BC Highway 37 (the Stewart-Cassiar Highway). Boya Lake is named for Charlie Boya, a First Nations man from the area. The next morning the lake was so beautiful that I just had to set up my camera and attempt to capture the scene that God painted for us.

This is a panorama stitched from 112 individual shots using my Sony A7Rii. It is 1.7 Gigapixels measuring 5-3/4 ft. x 23 ft. (1.75m x 7m). It is one of the largest images I have done. Denali (also known as Mount McKinley, its former official name) is the tallest land-based mountain on Earth—with a vertical rise of about 18,000 feet (5,500 m), as well as the highest mountain peak in North America—with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet (6,190 m) above sea level. With a topographic prominence of 20,156 feet (6,144 m) and a topographic isolation of 4,629 miles (7,450 km), Denali is the third most prominent and third most isolated peak after Mount Everest and Aconcagua. Located in the Alaska Range in the interior of the U.S. state of Alaska, Denali is the centerpiece of Denali National Park and Preserve.

Aug. 8, 2017, 7:20 AM. God blessed us with a 4th day where Denali was fully visible. We arrived about 50 minutes after sunrise and long shadows of the peaks to the east crossed the valley below Stony Pass. A mountain wave cloud hovers over Mt. Denali like an alien UFO. Wind swept snow is visible in plumes off of the higher peaks.

This panorama consists of 51 individual 42 mega-pixel images shot with Sony a7Rii at f-22, 1/30th second exposure time and ISO 50 using a 400mm focal length on Canon 70-200 zoom lens & 2x converter. The final cropped image is 5 ft x 16 ft..
