Agree wholeheartedly with this article, and I've often wondered why seats recline at all any more. Maybe when there used to be reasonable space between rows it wasn't as big a deal, but modern seat spacing makes it a tougher proposition. I have trouble when the person in front of me reclines and I never recline unless I'm in front of a kid or an empty seat.

But I know people have differing opinions -- previous debates I've seen have a pretty clear dividing line at right about 6 feet 2 inches.

People love their pens. The post below went up yesterday afternoon and already has 300 comments.

I buy new pens almost every time I go to a supply store, even if I'm stocked up at home. My favorites right now are the Uniball Deluxe Fine and Micro (http://www.staples.com/uni-ball-Deluxe-Rollerball-Pens-Micro-Point-Black-Dozen/product_302265), but I'm always on the lookout for new ones.

Skip the iPhone 5 -- this is the one I'm waiting for. Too bad it'll have to wait for Apple's iPants, featuring the longest pockets ever.

Screen sharing officially a part of Hangouts now
Christopher Johnson originally shared:

A visual refresh for Google+ Hangouts

When we launched Hangouts with Extras last September, we wanted to test new features and get feedback from users. We’ve learned a lot over the past few months, and today we’re rolling out a new Hangouts look and feel that incorporates some of the “extras,” and better reflects Google’s overall design (http://goo.gl/gG1NA). Highlights include:

- Screensharing: share what’s on your computer screen with everyone in the hangout. This is the first of many extras we’re graduating to Hangouts proper.

- Bigger video: we’ve put more emphasis on the live video itself by optimizing white space and other screen elements.

Check out the attached photos to preview some of the changes, and have fun hanging out!

I just turned this on in Google after reading about the tech journalist who was hacked earlier this week (http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2012/08/apple-amazon-mat-honan-hacking/all/1). It's much easier to set up than it sounds and has been working well so far.

Great article I saw a couple weeks ago in the print version of Wired. The online version has its own cow-clicking game -- try not to get sucked in!
Videogame designer Ian Bogost meant Cow Clicker. to be a satire with a short shelf life. Instead, the hit game enslaved him for more than a year.
