The SFA needs your help to bring much needed awareness to sarcoma. A petition asking the Obama Administration to officially recognize July as Sarcoma Awareness Month has been created on WhiteHouse.gov. Please take a moment to sign this petition and help us send the message that more attention needs to be given to the needs of the entire sarcoma community. Once you have signed, please forward this link to your friends, families, supporters, and other sarcoma advocates and ask them to do the same. You can share the petition on social media or even blog about it as a way of bringing attention to this effort.

At last night's "A Celebration of Life" event, the SFA honored some very deserving individuals who have inspired so many others.  This video tells the story of how these survivors have not been physically, emotionally or spiritually defeated by sarcoma: https://youtu.be/_EK3zv1fHEg.

You can help honor these individuals by donating to sarcoma research, advocacy, and awareness at http://www.curesarcoma.org/a-celebration-of-life-honoree-donation/.

"Yesterday, June 23, is exactly one year since I was told that I had cancer. It's kind of surreal all the changes that have taken place in my life since then. I have endured much, grown in many ways, re-examined who I am and what is important in life." - Rod, Sarcoma Foundation of America Wednesday Warrior
