Attention Sarcoma Advocates: Registration is open for Rare Disease Week activities (February 29 - March 3), including a legislative conference and lobby day, hosted by the Rare Disease Legislative Advocates (RDLA). This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other advocates and to bring much needed attention to rare diseases like sarcoma. If you can't attend, please consider sharing your story at http://rareadvocates.org/rdw/patientstories/. Stories will be hand delivered to Capitol Hill by RDLA during Rare Disease week.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family and friends of Patricia Elliott, who touched our lives on Broadway and on ‪#‎OneLifetoLive‬. Ms. Elliott passed away from ‪#‎sarcoma‬ on Sunday: http://www.playbill.com/news/article/patricia-elliott-tony-winning-actress-for-a-little-night-music-dies-at-77-376444.
Patricia Elliott, a stage actress who won a Tony Award in 1973 for her portrayal as the comically embittered Countess Charlotte Malcolm in the original production of the Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s musical, A Little Night Music, died on Dec. 20 at her home in Manhattan.

On this World Cancer Day, the Sarcoma Foundation of America recognizes all of those who have been touched by ‪#‎sarcoma‬ - patients, survivors and caregivers - and we remember those who have lost their battle.
Together, we work to find the cure in their honor.

We would like to send a big thank you to Grace and Phoebe who recently held a lemonade/cupcake stand to raise awareness of Ewing's sarcoma in honor of Grace's dad. The money raised was donated to the SFA for sarcoma research. Awesome job, girls!
