Introduction

Mitch Tulloch is a well-known expert on Windows administration, deployment, and virtualization based in Winnipeg, Canada. He has published hundreds of articles on a wide variety of technology sites and has written or contributed to almost 50 books including the bestselling Windows 7 Resource Kit (Microsoft Press 2009) for which he was lead author, and the free e-books Introducing Windows Server 2012 (Microsoft Press 2012) and Introducing Windows Server 2012 R2 (Microsoft Press 2013) which together have been downloaded over a million times.

Mitch is also Senior Editor of WServerNews, a weekly newsletter focused on the administration, management and security of the Windows Server platform in particular and cloud solutions in general. Every week, ten-time Microsoft MVP Mitch Tulloch ensures WServerNews is geared toward keeping you up-to-date on the latest cloud solutions, server technologies, IT best practices, third-party tools, security issues, and other topics relevant to both in-the-trenches IT pros and those who manage the business end of IT. Mitch has been repeatedly awarded Most Valuable Professional (MVP) status by Microsoft for his outstanding contributions to supporting the global IT community. He has been awarded MVP status for 10 years in a row in the technology area of Software Packaging, Deployment & Servicing.

Mitch also runs an IT content development business based in Winnipeg, Canada, which produces white papers and other collateral for the business decision maker (BDM) and technical decision maker (TDM) audiences. Before starting his own business in 1998, Mitch worked as a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) for Productivity Point.
