We have fallen in love with the MHM! In fact my family is there again today with friends after going twice in the past two weeks! My kids love it all, the little ones love playing History Clubhouse, but have done well looking at other exhibits. My 6 year old loves everything about it, from playing in the clubhouse to going through the World's Fair and to going through the special 50-70's toys exhibit she could spend the entire day and not get board!

One of the leading cultural institutions in the St Louis area. Several temporary exibits have graced this museum over the years, along with more long term galleries. Several lectures and programs also are presented on weekends and evenings. The food served in the museum restaurant is quite good. The guest services staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. This institution would be of great interest to anyone interested in St. Louis and Missouri history.

The more I go here the more I want to go back. They seem to have a lot of fun temporary exhibits. They have a relatively new children's wing. Of course there are always permanent exhibits of St. Louis' history which are just as rich.

Not kid friendly. The workers in the toy exhibit wouldnt leave the kids alone. They were playing quietly and were scolded 7 times in 5 minutes by 2 different workers about playing improperly with the toys. Really though, playing nicely.

A perfect place to spend a rainy day with the family! The exhibits are always changing so there is never a lack of new and exciting things to see and learn about. There is also a children's area that all young children will love. A MUST SEE for a history buff in Saint Louis! It's also FREE!

This is a good place to visit. I don't visit it as much as the art museum / the zoo because its parking lots are small, and the other closest parking lots are a bit of a walk. That said, this is an excellent place to spend some time. I learned about the World Fair and Olympics that happened in St. Louis, as well as how Forest Park came to be while visiting. Recommended.

Great museum. So much better now since they began to curate their own stuff and getting away from the National exhibitions.
